Hideo Kojima Has Launched YouTube Channel HideoTube

Since leaving Konami, the popular game designer Hideo Kojima has had time to start up his own personal projects…including “HideoTube,” a YouTube channel that is apparently going to be about more than just gaming and games.

The channel’s first video ever was a Top 10 film list for 2015.  Hideo Kojima had a guest that talked with him throughout the course of the video – novelist Kenji Yano. (Yano adapted Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain into a novel format.)

It’s…a sizeable video coming in at over 45 minutes, but the fans seem to have reacted well.  You can check it out right here:

The game director is also scheduled to give a keynote address at the DICE Summit next week at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Kojima will give a presentation titled “A Conversation with Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro,” with is former Silent Hills collaborator and director.
