What Would It Look Life If Anime Characters Invaded Real Life?

Recently, there’s been a lot of attention on a really detailed 3D statue of the anime character Momo Deviluke.

It’s really exquisitely made, but it’s just the latest in a long tradition of life-size anime statues.

I thought I’d take a bigger look at the life-size figures that the anime industry has produced.

Let’s have a look:

Behold, the cast of Madoka Magica, gracing the real world with their presence!

There’s an appreciable amount of detail on these, too.

But that’s not all – Anime Maids have begun making their way over.

There’s even statues with awkwardly oversized boobs.

Because of course there are.

On the other hand, it’s not like there’s a complete lack of eye candy for girls.

This buff man among men has become a statue as well!

Let’s get a slightly bigger picture –

There are, of course, many statues with varying detail and quality.

This allows the cast of more shows to grace us with their presence.

And, of course, the vocaloids couldn’t pass up on this trend.

Hatsune Miku in the flesh!  Or, the 3D printed solid material…or whatever.  Anyways, good to see her doing so well.

Anyways, that’s a pretty good selection for today.

And depending what level of quality you’re going for, there are loads upon loads of other statues and figures.

Maybe one day, our world will be taken over by life-size anime figures.

I, for one, welcome our new anime overlords.  🙂

Or, more realistically, that the production price of these things drops.  However, even small 3D printed figures are usually more expensive than I like to buy myself.  O_O
