It appears we have another addition to anime’s more serious side on our hands.

“91 Days” is a revenge story set in the prohibition, where lawlessness abounds, and our protagonist is going to have to a lot of clever problem solving to achieve his goals.

“Revenge spawns revenge,” as this dark and serious take on human nature and society unfolds.

The title of this article, “If you loved the Godfather, you’re going to want to check out this anime,” was said by Dallas Middaugh (from Crunchyroll) during Crunchyroll’s “Summer Rollout” and announcements.  As he put it, he never thought he would be able to use that phrase…but now it applied.
