Lightning, the heroine of Final Fantasy XIII, is springing into action once again – as a model for Louis Vuitton. We…did not see that coming. In the company’s own words, “Louis Vuitton has always pushed the boundaries of reality and dreams.”
This of course brings a whole new level of unrealistic beauty standards to the modeling industry. Forget Photoshopping a pretty girl – now they’re not even using real people! (/sarcasm)
On a more honest note, I actually like the effect of having a CGI model, and Lightning certainly rocks the new look. Perhaps this marks more exposure or acceptance by the other side of society of video game characters?
